How the Plain Text (TXT) to PDF conversion works
Your text is read as UTF-8, split into paragraphs, and laid out line by line onto A4 pages at a readable 11-point size. Long lines wrap at word boundaries, very long unbroken strings are hard-wrapped so nothing runs off the page, and new pages are added automatically as the text flows.

Limitations to know about
- The PDF uses a standard built-in font, so a small number of unusual Unicode characters (for example emoji or rare scripts) may be replaced with a placeholder.
- Plain text has no styling, so the PDF is deliberately simple: one clean text column. Markdown syntax is not interpreted.
Privacy and security
Your file is uploaded over HTTPS, converted entirely in memory and streamed straight back to your browser. It is never written to disk, never logged and never retained after the conversion — there is nothing to delete because nothing is stored. Frequently asked questions
Will my line breaks be preserved?
Yes. Each line of your text file starts a new line in the PDF, and blank lines create paragraph spacing. Lines longer than the page width wrap automatically at word boundaries.
Can I convert Markdown files this way?
You can convert a .md file's raw text by renaming it to .txt, but the Markdown syntax (# headers, **bold**) will appear literally rather than being rendered. Markdown rendering is a different kind of conversion that Filembly doesn't do yet.
What page size does the PDF use?
A4 portrait with comfortable margins — the standard for printing in most of the world. The text is set at 11 points with generous line spacing for readability.
