Delete Pages from a PDF
Strip pages out of a PDF and keep everything else. Upload the document, say which pages should go, and download the result.
Useful for removing a blank scanned page, dropping an internal cover sheet before sending a document on, or deleting the pages of a bundle that are not relevant to the recipient.
How it works
Filembly builds a new PDF containing every page except the ones you listed. The pages that remain keep their original order, content and quality — they are copied across rather than re-rendered.
Because deleting every page would leave nothing to download, the tool checks your selection against the document and refuses that case with an explanation instead of producing an empty file.
How to delete pages
- Upload the PDF.
- Type the pages to delete — for example 2, 6-8.
- Click Delete pages.
- Download the PDF with those pages removed.
Limitations to know about
- At least one page must remain — a selection covering the whole document is rejected.
- Bookmarks, form fields and annotations are not carried across.
- Password-protected PDFs cannot be opened and return a clear error.
Privacy and security
Your files are uploaded over HTTPS, processed entirely in memory and streamed straight back to your browser. They are never written to disk, never logged and never retained after the response — there is nothing to delete because nothing is stored. Frequently asked questions
How do I know which page numbers to enter?
Use the page numbers your PDF reader shows, counting from 1. If your document has its own printed numbering that starts elsewhere — a report numbering the cover as 0, for example — go by position in the file, not the printed number.
Can I undo a deletion?
Your original file is never modified. The tool produces a new PDF and leaves the file on your computer untouched, so you can simply upload it again and try a different selection.
What is the difference between this and Split PDF?
They are opposites. Split PDF keeps only the pages you name; this tool removes the pages you name and keeps everything else. Use whichever expresses your selection in fewer numbers.
